I'm Devaret [they / them]. I wanted to start keeping a blog to talk about my projects and casually discuss/research topics I'm passionate about. Professionally, I'm a software engineer and am also working towards my physics degree, but mostly intend to use this space for personal use.
Outside of work and studies, I enjoy a long list of hobbies: painting, entomology, knitting/crocheting, electronics DIY, and boxing are a few, though I always want to try new artistic mediums.
I look for the crossovers between my scientific interests and my pastimes, and talk about some of these here. I'm really enthusiastic about unique means of science communication and like to explore them. I want art and science to be fun and accessible for everyone.
